2010/03/04> THE STATE OF THE NORDIC DEVELOPMENT SCENE
Housemarque CEO Ilari Kuittinen is one of the Nordic game company heads that share their view in a new Gamasutra article on the Nordic Development Scene.
"I think that the Nordic region is doing quite well if you compare the amount of people employed by game companies compared to the total population. At least here in Finland we have around 1200 people in the industry vs 5,2 million population and this compares favorably with even the US (45,000 vs 300M)."

2010/01/12> SUPER STARDUST 3D: 720P120 CONFIRMED
"...the new version of Super Stardust HD is effectively running at a native resolution of full 720p at a staggering 120 frames per second (60 for each eye). We're talking about something not just based on low-resolution buffers as in Invincible Tiger and Avatar, but something new, exciting and a whole lot more challenging to achieve: a true technical leap, and a definite unique selling point for the Sony platform.

2010/01/07> SUPER STARDUST HD IN FULL 3D GLORY ON THE CES SHOW FLOOR
Yesterday Sony showed a short video clip of "Super Stardust HD" in 3d during their CES 2010 press conference. The game is also playable on the show floor on a 3D TV. The first hands-on report can be found here:
IGN @ CES 2010: 3D PlayStation 3 Playable Super Stardust and Gran Turismo are Sony's 3D game stars at CES.
"Of the three games, this was the most immediately arresting thanks to the sharp visuals and the layering of the play field."
IGN @ CES 2010: 3D Super Stardust HD Wows
"Despite making a lot of noise about 3D being a major component in its future PlayStation 3 strategy, Sony had just three games at its CES booth this week: Avatar, a Gran Turismo demo, and Super Stardust HD. Of that trio, Super Stardust HD enjoyed the most traffic every time I walked by the booth, which was typically once a day just to observe the reactions to the 3D games."
Kotaku
"Surprisingly, it was the 3D rejiggering of a PlayStation Network game, not Gran Turismo 5, that made me think "Hey, this 3D display gimmick might not be so bad after all." That game was Housemarque's excellent Super Stardust HD."
Gamertell
"The 3D effects made everything in the game appear more round and elevated than normal. The high definition graphics were very pleasant to look at and was certainly something I haven't experienced before. The most impressive thing about the 3D graphics happened when I would blow up a large asteroid. The small fragments from the rock rushed toward my eyes and made me shift my weight in an attempt to dodge them."
